When the Rebbe gives an instruction, it's as if G-d Himself is speaking!

…When instructions are given by the "continuation of Moshe Rabbeinu in every generation", i.e. the head of the generation, one has to know that this is as if one heard them from the A-mighty Himself. This is because "the spirit of G-d spoke within me and His word is in my mouth", as well as "He revealed His secrets through His servants, the prophets."

Therefore these instructoins need to be  carried out as if they were received from G-d Himself.  Furthermore, it makes no difference whether the sources are sited or not because most certainly "the spirit of G-d spoke within me."  Moreover, his directives need to be fulfilled with maximum speed...
